Make it Artsy Giveaway

Make it Artsy is a new television show hosted by Julie Fei-Fan Balzar and highlighting art techniques introduced by weekly guests. The show is being broadcast in the United States on PBS in select markets only but each week, a single episode airs on the Make it Artsy website.

I am excited to be a featured guest on Episode 12 along with Rebekah Meier and Jenn Mason. The theme is Collage and my segment focuses on adding dimension to collage through layering with paint, stamps, die cuts, and mark making. This episode is available for viewing here through Friday January 6th only.

--------------
To celebrate, I am hosting a giveaway. One person will receive the original artwork I made in the episode...

...and one of the die sets (Drip Drop) used in the piece...

...and the new Spellbinders Platinum 6 Die cutting and Embossing Machine!

To be eligible, simply leave a comment on this post. Open to all (internationals included), this giveaway closes end of day Friday January 6th. Please be sure I have a way to contact you if the random number table selects you.

Since I don't get that show on my PBS station, I went to the web site Sunday and watched it. Imagine my surprise when I saw you feature it today. It's a wonderful piece of art, and I was so impressed with your teaching skills, even when Julie (bless her heart) continued to interrupt you. That flusters some people, I'm sure. But not you.

Roberta Warshaw said...

I always wondered how those scan n cuts worked! Thanks for the great tutorial. I wish they would leave all the episodes online though for longer. I have missed a few and my PBS station doesn't seem to carry the show.
